Terminology

  • User,  user is someone who can log into the Zsuite to send out observer risk events impacting organization assets, take action to launch either notifications or Incidents, manage settings or work with contact data. In other words, they have work to do in the Zsuite system itself. A Zsuite user can be a contact, however contact need not to be a user.
  • Contact, is a person who receives critical, or emergency or non-emergency messages launched from the Zsuite application. A contact can be Employee, Customer, Vendor, Supplier or Student. 
  • Contact Path, represents a  contact message receiving mode such as SMS, EMAIL, Voice Call.  Many organizations use between five and ten contact paths per person. The following are some examples:
    • SMS
    • Personal email
    • Business email
    • Office phone
    • Mobile phone
  • Asset, it can be treated as one of the necessary components of the particular company, showing its title, nature and ways of utilizing them like building, vehicles etc.
  • Notification, A notification sends a message to a contact using the notification settings and delivery methods specified in the contact record.  You can set a notification to ask for confirmation of the number and save it when the number confirms receipt of a message. When someone confirms receiving the message, will stop forwarding messages to that number.. Once the person confirms receipt of the message, the application stops sending the message to this contact. 
  • Threat, A threat, event, incident, or vector that may damage, impair, reduce, or adversely affect an asset or interest.
