Overview of Roles


Depending on the roles, some responsibilities are assigned. Here are the responsibilities for the specific roles. If you click on “Roles”, you will see the existing roles.

Mass Notification (MN) Dispatcher: Responsible for managing all mass notification related activities.

HR: Responsible for all the HR activities. 

Organisation Admin: Responsible for all the management activities.

Incident Operator: Responsible for start/stop of incident notification launch.

Incident Manager: Responsible for managing all incident related activities.

Mass Notification Manager: Responsible for managing all mass notification related activities.

Content Writer: Responsible for creating message templates.

Content Manager: Responsible for creating and managing message templates.

Staff Schedule Manager: Responsible for all on-call staff scheduling activities.

Contact Organizer: Responsible for organizing data by creating filters  and groups 

Contact Manager: Responsible for managing all the contacts in the Organization.

User Manager: Responsible for managing all the Users in the Organization.

Details of a Role

Role Name: Mass Notification (MN) Dispatcher 

Created By: The person who created the Role from the Admin side is shown here.

Created On: This gives the date on which your Role is created.

Role Description: Here you can see the Responsibilities of your Role.

Assignees:Here you can see the number of people assigned with the same role i.e., Management Notification Dispatcher. Here it is assigned to only one User. Here you will find the details of the User who assigned the Role.

If you go back to the “Roles” you will find Alerts & Permissions, this is the place where you can know the permissions given by the admin to your Role. Find this to know the permissions given.

Below are the permissions for “Dashboard”, “Critical Event Management” and “Staff scheduling”.

Below are the permissions for “Access” and “Notification Management.

Below are the permissions for “Message Template Management” and “Contact Management”.

The permissions present are View, Create, Edit, and Delete. If there is a “tick” in the check box given, then they will have access to it.
